“Dental implants replace missing teeth giving a natural-looking smile.”

Dental Implants
All surgical procedures or invasive procedures come with risks. Therefore, you need to consult a certified health practitioner before taking any of these procedures.
Dental implants should be your top priority if you want to replace your missing teeth. The problem associated with missing teeth has a significant impact on your oral health, the foods you eat, and your smile.
Unlike the partial or denture cases, you won’t find it challenging to slip or slide while eating or during social situations. However, consider giving dental implants quality care, similar to the one you offer your natural teeth. This care includes regular dental cleanings, flossing, and brushing.
With dental implants, dentists don’t alter the existing healthy teeth. You can use a dental implant to support your dental bridge without interfering with natural teeth. As a result, dental implants give a more conservative technique to your treatment plan.
Do You Need To Go For
Dental Implants?
Most people treat missing teeth as a cosmetic issue. Yes, it’s a fair issue because you use your smile every day. With dental implants, you’ll get a long-term solution that completes your smile. At Northern Beaches Dental Group, we’ll ensure you get a highly aesthetic dental implant by matching it with your natural teeth.
The oral health is likely to be at risk if you lose your natural tooth. Missing teeth can add more stress to your remaining natural teeth and even damage them. With missing teeth, you’ll find it hard or painful to eat the healthy and fresh meals needed for the right nutrition.
The bone is likely to deteriorate if you lose teeth, causing your facial features to feature a sunken appearance. However, with dental implants, you’ll get an easy way of stopping this process.

Who Are The Right Candidates For Dental Implants?
Many healthy adults can go for dental implants, but implant effectiveness is likely to get changed by some health conditions.
At Northern Beaches Dental Group, we will conduct a 100% oral evaluation to determine if you’re healthy and have sufficient bone for a dental implant. Also, with this evaluation, we determine if the dental implant will work sufficiently for you.

How We Place
Dental Implants
We will conduct a full examination that includes x-rays before proceeding to the actual dental implant process. First, we need to assess your bone’s condition because the implant has a direct link with your jawbone. A successful dental implant may require sinus lifts, bone grafts, or other procedures in some cases.
After all that, we will place implant titanium posts. Once you heal sufficiently, we can put a temporary dental crown over the dental implant as we wait for the dental lab to prepare the permanent crown. After the dental lab creates the permanent crown, you’ll need to visit our clinic to place the permanent crown. We will check the appearance and fit, and the process will be 100% complete.
